Andrew,

Jasper and I grew up together.  We've been close friends forever.  We even had a magic act that was quite famous called the Twin Foondinis.  Legend has it that Sigfreid and Roy modeled theirs after ours.

Notice his Master's Degree thumb tacked to the wall.  DId I forget to tell you that he's also close with a dollar?  (The first one's saved in that pile on the left.)

A true talent is knowing exactly where everything is in an office like the one picture above.

I'm amazed that J.E. can find anything in that office.  It looks like he still has every paper he ever got.

Vivian, he does, I think.  At least he has the essay he did in Miss Margarette Laursen's 5th grade class titled "What I Did This Summer."  He got a B-minus.    It's on the back table, second pile from the left.

Andy Rooney thinks he's eccentric with his rather slightly messy desk.  Shows the "Itralians" do everything better.

LoL, Bill, this was a priceless story told in pictures.  Thanks so much for the morning giggles....wow, what a desk.  He does have a lovely smile though...

I wonder how he ever finds anything in all that mess ?  Here I thought my stacks of papers were getting out of control...

Can this office be entered into a contest?  I have to admit that while I was the principal's secretary at a large high school in Houston, I worked for several principals who had desks that looked close to Jaspers.  I would place items in stacks so that they could go through the info but the next day, it all looked like a mess again.  You just had to remember that at one time you saw the info and knew that somewhere on that desk it was there.  I'm sure JE knows what stack is what!!!

Jo and Barbara, thanks for your additions.  To the rest of you, Barbara and Ellie went through the Galveston public schools with Jasper and me.  (In those days he was known as J.E.)

To Jo, you would get a kick out of Jasper.  He has a superb sense of humor, and an enormously stable respect for friendships.

One of my other blogs was about Jasper's daddy, Sam Tramonte.  You may have read it.  It was about him buying a boat without his wive Ernestine knowing about it, and how he worked his way out of that trap by using some good salesmanship.

Wowser! Now I see where 3M got its idea for Post-It Notes. Jasper must be rich from the royalyt fees.

J.E. (Jasper) is going to be pleased with your comment, Sonny.  The rest of us have been trying toi figure out where his money is coming from.

Hope all is well with you.

Bill-It must be a thread running through the BHS Class of '58-I feel-I have similiar piles of papers-not to rival his of course-but then he's a take care of business Mr. Businessman-(according to his stacks)I'm only
a County employee-where stacks of legal docs go across my desk-(But my dining room table could possibly qualify-)It's good to see J.E. after all these years.
