Classy...that is awesome...
I bet that was very cool to witness, thanks for sharing!
Well that is something you do not see too often. A former president and first lady thanking the troops. Very classy.
You wonder why I miss the man in office...he was at the Rangers game last night sitting next to Nolan.....damn Yankees pulled it out though.
This news is so heart warming, didn't see or hear about it in the news. President and Mrs. Bush has our wholehearted respect and always will.
Thanks Bill for posting.

Bill,
How lucky we are to have them living in Dallas.
I agree with all of you!
They got up very early to go do this. They knew there would be absolutely no political or business collateral that would come thier wary as a result. So obviously they did it because they are good peopleand just plain wanted to.
I agree with Richard Weeks. We are very lucky to have them living in Dallas. I wish the current administration would study and follow their decorum rather than do stuff like put their feet up on the desk in the Oval Office. I admit that offended me terribly, but I think it has to do with my upbringing.
Bill, Can you imagine the surprise these service men and women felt when they came off that plane. Our daughter is an International flight attendant for a charter company that moves our troops. She was in Dallas on the 9th so I guess just missed it by a few days. She will be back again on the 14th to move more troops.
President and Mrs. Bush are such unselfish people, and they are obviously very caring. While they take enormous criticism, I wonder how many people other than the troops' families and friends show up to greet and thank them when they arrive home?
Marchel, I didn't know your daughter is a flight attendant. I'll bet she has some especially interesting stories.
